Important updates with Library v0.3.0 and latest EQConnect

Library version 0.3.0 has been released! This update brings significant changes to the user management database structure and introduces support for the EQXPH pH expansion module. These changes lay the groundwork for more functionality with additional expansion modules and enable the development of advanced user management and greater system flexibility. Please update your EQConnect App to revision 0917 2024 or later to ensure full compatibility with these updates.

Revised User Management Database Structure

In Library v0.3.0, we’ve significantly updated the user management database structure. Users are now stored with an autogenerated UID (Unique Identifier), simplifying the process of securing the database, restricting access, and streamlining management. This update lays the groundwork for future enhancements, including role-based access control and more efficient user operations.

Linking User with EQSP32 Device

User linking to the EQSP32 system is now directly managed within the EQConnect App. This integration simplifies the setup process, automatically preparing user accounts for seamless use within the custom mobile app.

EQ Expansion Modules

Library v0.3.0 enhances the EQSP32 system by allowing the addition of expansion modules, each designed for specialized applications. This modular approach provides greater flexibility and functionality, enabling users to customize their setups based on specific needs.

• Automatic Module Indexing & Detection: The system now automatically detects and indexes connected EQ expansion modules, categorizing them by type to streamline the integration process.
• EQXPH Module Support: This update offers support for the EQXPH pH module enabling real-time pH monitoring.
  Use eqsp32.readPin(EQXPH(nn, 1)) to read pH values, where nn specifies the module index (e.g., EQXPH(1, 1) for the first pH module, EQXPH(2, 1) for the second, etc.).
